Cody Foster Thesis

"Though being from two different eras and societies, King Arthur and Beowulf are portrayed as the epitome of epic heroes and embody the true principles and ideals of their cultures." OR "Through courage, strength, and chivalry, both Beowulf and King Arthur embody that of an epic and romantic hero and display the true values and codes of their personal cultures." I'm not sure which one to or should use.

  1. In terms of the first, 'despite' would be a stronger leading word (and would cause the sentence to make a bit more sense).

You're not specifically stating which you see to be a more true example in either though.
