The epic hero embodied in Beowulf clashes with the romance hero portrayed as Gareth. Their differences are emphasized through each heroes' upbringing, reputation, actions, and through the structure and device the authors utilize throughout each tale.
It is usually a good idea to make the thesis only one sentence long.
